Here's what his dad Tom had to say -
"This was Albie's first ever session at Sherwood Water and now it's his favourite lake. Just a short session on Saturday morning because of the heat. For the first hour we couldn't keep the rods in the water, with hungry Tench feeding well, with fish to over 6lb. After it had quietened down a bit on the Tench, Albie landed his first hard fighting Common of around 12lb. This was quickly followed by another Common of around 13lb. The last fish of the morning resulted in a lovely looking 16lb Mirror which really gave him hell but with some patience and skill we managed to slip the net under it.
They really do fight hard in here. Safe to say we will definitely be visiting again soon. "
